An awesome one of course. It's the annual Charleston County Fair. My art's going to be in it.
It's been nasty here, too, but I don't know what it's going to be like this week. I really, really hope it clears up before the fair. It was so nice during the fair last year and I hate going when it's colder than 50-something.
Chemistry is really cool. I thought my teacher was going to blow me up yesterday when she did the coolest thing with some kind of alchohol and a candle. I hated biology! I failed that class and I had to go to Saturday school to make it up and it was still Chinese to me. Marine biology now, is pretty cool.
Our heater's still working, but it's probably not cold to most people here. We freeze when we get outside, though. Hopefully it'll warm up and dry up for the fair.
Fun stuff. We'll be on that in a few days most likely.
We have a suck teacher. However, if we don't work from bell to bell, we won't have time to study and do homework in class. She's really boring, but she is okay about making us learn. I've had better teachers. Now that chemistry teacher of mine is strict as hell, but she will make you learn.
Really?
We're on logs now.
I failed my test yesterday with a lovely 62.
I have no idea why I took it. My GPA is going to be crap by my senior year.
I'm taking all easy classes next year to bring it up.
We just use all the state taxes. It gets us loads of things like crazy computer smart boards and new school buildings and gold name tags and junk like that. :]
Definitely. That reminds me...we have this new smart board thing in class that we use for notes and it wasn't hooked to the computer right and it would flash purple whenever the teacher touched it. If only we had glow sticks and techno music playing...lol :D
It was an orchestra and there wasn't a lot of participation required, but it was the most amazing performance I've ever seen. Everybody was too awed to do anything. I mean, they had a glow-in-the-dark electric violin. I've wanted to go since I was little and I've been dying to go again. I've always wanted to play an electric violin, too. :3
The Soundtrack of Summer tour was the first actual "rock" concert I've been to. My first were some Christian bands, but I didn't really know them (my cousins took me) and the second was the Trans Siberian Orchestra which was a hell of a concert, but there's not really any jumping around and singing involved.
I haven't been able to go to a concert in a while. There was a Kenny Chesney concert last weekend that I didn't even know about until everybody started posting that they were going on facebook that night. I could kill myself for not knowing about it. It was already sold out, anyway, but I'm still pissed about that.
Ah, we went to that concert!!! This was months before she even met the guy and just that day was amazing!
We went to get Breaking Dawn at midnight, then we went to a private party at the waterpark for free. We went to the concert after that and we met these two girls in front of us who had friends at the front of the line and we got to go up and we were only a few yards from the stage. It was amazing! And that Trace Cyrus was shirtless!!!
There weren't that many guys involved besides the ones on stage, but I know how it is with cute guys when you're single. It's great, isn't it? :]
Oh that sucks. But yeah, this guy is great, and I like him a lot, but he's all she thinks about and she just doesn't care about anything unless he's apart of it.
But, I agree with you. I don't understand why people so young would even consider love. I mean, I'm 16 and I haven't even kissed a guy on the lips yet. It takes up way to much time and it's not that smart, either. I'd rather go to school and get my life started before I settle down with somebody. And like you said, it's not like it's going to last. How many high school romances make it through marriage? Single chicks have way more fun, anyway.
Definitely. And she was one of those girls like that, too. "Chicks before dicks" was her thing and she would say, "people can't fall in love that fast...blah,blah,blah" and now she's just another girlfriend who thinks that the only person in her life is her boyfriend.
I mean, I've had boyfriends before, but I used to dump them for a while to hang out with her. They just weren't as important. But, her boyfriend goes and hangs out with his friends all the time. He's not like her and he's really good about distributing his time between his girl and his friends and I like him, but I just want them to break-up sometimes. And when he graduates next year, she'll be expecting me to be like her replacement boyfriend.
I just don't understand the whole teenage love thing. Depending on the maturity level of the couple, it can be stupid.
It's really weird.
I feel like my best friend cares more about being with her boyfriend than me.
I've known her for five years and they just like around Christmas last year and she always has time for him, but not me.
It's been going on for months and I've gotten used to it, but it gets me upset when she rejects my invitations to go out, but she always seems to have time for him.
She was at his soccer game today (I didn't even know he played before she told me today) and I've been asking her all week to come over.
Sorry for ranting off on you, but it gets me upset. :p
