I commend you for speak up in what you believe and I cannot change your views, nor do I want to, but since you have called me out in a way, I feel that a rebuttal is in order.
The reason I use the word 'EMO' in my screen name is because I have the right to do as I please. I also use the 'EMO' because it's short fro 'EMOTIONAL' and surly you already know that.
I do not use the name to further up the stereotype. I use it because I consider myself personally an 'EMOTIONAL' person and I find it rather ridiculous having to use the whole word rather than it's commonly known abbreviation.

Yup. It's uber stupid. But I guess you have to see it from their side too, as it's a characteristic that's easily recognizable. I don't support it, but I can see where they come from, to a point, y'know?
