It's alright. I love criticism, cause it helps make my story better :) And I live in Australia so the words are pretty much the same as they are in England i.e sidewalk/pavement. oh, and 'mum' - which I've always just found so weird when spelt 'mom' in the US. Oh and one question about Oxford, are there many corporate buildings or is it like mostly houses and apartments?
And thank you for the heads up on the medicine thing, I'll definitely be changing that now :)

I know what you mean. I had a friend who spent a week in a mad house and she said it was all routine. I'm not sure if they're as brutal as I wanted them to be in my story, but I hope it worked haha.

Haha, it's all good. I do that a lot when I'm writing like, a character's thoughts or something because I'll do them in italics and forget an [/i] or whatever and then the entire oneshot'll be in italics XD

I am basing it off the new film, but it will be very [b]very[/b] different.

It's an actual hospital in the city I live in, but I'm not sure if it's that brutal.

You're story actually reminds me of one of mine, to be honest haha.
Mine is called "Death Isn't the End" it's about a girl named Adelaide whose parents are brutally murdered. She's moves from orphanage to orphanage because of brutal attacks on her house mates. But it isn't her, it's the creatures that she sees.

I like the idea of faries though, I've always been facinated by the Fae. I read a series of books that were simply amazing. They're by an author named Holly Black. Tithe, Valiant and Iron Side. Brilliant author, I think you'd like those books.
