I THOUGHT THE EXACT SAME THING. I think that's why I sobbed for as long as I did. It wasn't just another character an actor of mine died as; it almost felt like I was watching an alternate ending of RDJ's life.

What channel was it on? And oh, I know. Robert's so intelligent, he just words things in a certain way and it either warms my soul or chills me straight to the bone.

That's what I think it was, there just wasn't enough publicity about it. I didn't know until i read an interview of another actor that I really like who's also a musician and he mentioned RDJ having an album and I was like "lolwut?" and promptly hopped over to YouTube and fell in love.
