...Well, Pomegranate Juice would be kind of a hard name for the kid to learn how to spell. xD My friend jokes with me that I'm going to name my kid Purple because my friend said, "Magenta could be a good name for a kid." and I was like, "You be all fancy with Magenta and I'll just name my kid Purple so my kid will know how to spell it before anyone else."

Hmm. A selfish character that betrays others; out of selfishness, possibly. Do you think the protagonist will eventually convince her otherwise, and turn her into a good character?

And no, since she's one of the villains her actions will definitely drive the story, as the protagonists will probably react to whatever problems she creates.

A red hair villian named Eva, huh? Sounds like a start. xD We can work on her backstory later.
So, any ideas why should be the villian? What did she do/what is she doing for her to be considered a villian? Since this would obviously be a plot point for the story, I think.
