Anyways, what are you up to?

Oh god, you'd be surprised what lack of imagination I have. I could never do a contest like that. It takes too much spontaneity and liveliness, which I lack. I fail to see past reality. If something's not cold, hard fact, then I just don't understand it. That's why I only do fan-fics. The background information's already there, so all you need is the plot. :[ Another place where I fail as a writer, ha.
Besides, I'd never be able to write anything I'd feel good about entering after reading what you have so far. :D

Long stories are good! I just can't write them long, cos' I make something exciting happen, and it's only like Chapter 10 so after that they all seem boring to me to write! I think yours should end happily, in my imagination it does =) Mine doesn't though... I wish it did, except I chose the most dark picture of the lot =S

You just basically explained why I fail at writing. Hahaha! I loved it!
I think I may try that now. Because my chapters always seem much too long and too jammed-full. Not to mention their major suckage factor, but I suppose that has nothing to do with length.

Just wanted to say thanks for the comment. I was looking around the site and didn't see any stories about the military or anything so I decided I would try it and see what happened. I'm glad you're enjoying it so far. If you have any advice on how to make my story or my writing better then let me know.

Yeah, I might. I’m just not too great with deadlines. Plus, I’m going through a bit of a dry spell. My last story, Buried Words, was for a contest that got cancelled. It’s all I’ve been able to write in awhile.

Write for yourself, first and foremost. The feedback you get is nice and all, but it's not the most important thing about writing and posting to this site. Don't limit yourself just for fear that less people will be interested. Write what you want, and if people will get interested, they will. I myself write TREMENDOUSLY long chapters, but I still get feedback. You just have to work at it. Patience, and all that. :)
