Aww! Yes, Like A Prayer was definitely one of my favorites to write. I wrote it for a contest and it failed epically, and it was the first time I'd ever been ripped apart as a writer. It wasn't pretty.
If you liked Like A Prayer, my favorite things I've ever written are all my oneshots. There's a string of them, beginning with "The Best I Ever Had" and there's four more that follow it, ending it with "I Take Back Everything". So far.
AND, my personal favorite, is another oneshot called "Joyride". It's the story I've wanted to write ever since I began writing, and this spans well over a decade now :)
But "Submission" is by far my favorite story to write. Another personal favorite is "Learning to Fall", which is co-written with another one of the most special people in my life. That's a very cutesey one, and in it Frank and Gerard are daddies that are brought together by their kids. Note: we totally began writing it waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay before the news of Gerard's actual real life baby, so... we were definitely not inspired by that awesome news, we just had the idea and went with it. Gosh, it needs to be updated so badly. :(
"Eyelash Wishes" is also very very very special to me, 'cause it was my first Frerard that I ever wrote. <33
Wow that was quite a rant full of shameless self-promotion! Forgive me <3
I'm Madison, by the way.
Annnnd, your username, is that like, flyleaf, or am I insane? My username for most things, is actually DyingWhileIWaitToDie, but I figure it sounds depressing, so I stopped.
Anyway.
Sorry to bother you.
How's life?
