I try to be friends with black kids but except for a few they see my hair and then I tell them pop-punk is my favourite music then they shun me as white since I look like a mulatto. Strangely enough, except for this one white kid. White kids are nice to me even when they think I'm mixed.

Yeah, I sorta understand not because of the color of my skin but because of my voice. I have the preppyest voice ever and whenever someone talks to me they exspect me to be just that. It's extreamly annoying.

Me too girlie. I hate to say it but I make better friends with white people. They don't judge me as much.

haha, I totally know what you mean when people stereotype. I'm black too and people give me crap because I like bands like Paramore and All Time Low, and I wear skinny jeans and like 80's movies. Everyone expects me to wear Baby Phat shoes and i'm all like, "fuck no! converse all stars!" haha, sorry if i'm wierd. It's just that I totally can relate and it excites me. :) XD
