That's ridiculous. You either give a kid rights AND responsibility, or you don't give them either. You can't say, "Pay up or I take this away from you". That's basically blackmail. If your kid is still young enough to be dependent on you and to still be relying on the things that you give them, then it's unfair to ask them for anything in return until they're able and willing to give it.

Mhm, and that's what I would do if I had a kid. I'd be like, "If you have a job, you should be paying a little rent so that you understand how life works" but it wouldn't be like a "you are required to pay rent and it has to be $150 a month and I'll turn off your phone and computer if you don't". >.>

You'd find a lot of things weird about my mom. :o

Mhm. Like, if I had the money, I would pay her rent because I know our family has money issues. When I was fifteen and sixteen, we weren't getting child support and we were having some really tough times, like our electric was going out all the time, our phones were being cut off, etc., and I was determined to get a job but I didn't know how. My mom kept telling me I didn't have to get one but that's something else that annoys me about her; she doesn't take help when she needs it. That would usually be a sign of strength but she doesn't take help when she really does need it.

But I don't have the money, and she's trying to force me to pay it, and that's just not right. :/

Well, yeah. At 18. Parents apparently can't force you to pay rent at 17. :/

I haven't had time, tbh. :/ I've been fighting with my mom who's trying to make me pay rent at 17 years old, and I've been out job-searching, and I only have four hours a day on the computer. I'm on more than just Mibba so it will take a while for me to be able to read your stuff. But you're definitely on my list, okay?

Haha, well, the subscription system was being a little weird recently so I like to let everyone know it's updated. :) Besides, I try to subtly sneak in there that I like comments so that they'll make sure to comment. XD

Personally, I prefer the original format games. All the other games, like the Mystery Dungeon ones and the Wii games etc, feel like they're just for kids, to me (even though I'm sure they can be enjoyable for all ages, just like any Pokémon game!). The original format games are a lot more challenging, I think; especially if you actually do try to "catch 'em all" using non-cheating methods.

Yeah, apparently it's different from the other ones, like Red and Blue and Time and so on. I guess it's got a different storyline or something. It's got Dialga and Temporal Tower in it, and all kinds of shiz. I just hope I can remember it all. *__*

Oh, and by the way...the plot is supposed to be a bit confusing. It all comes together the more chapters I put up. It doesn't matter that you don't watch the show (I don't anymore, either) because this isn't in the show. Or at least not in the main episodes they're playing now. It's from a game. :) Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky. It's a totally new way of playing Pokemon where you are the Pokemon, and that fic follows the plot of the game.

Yeah, I remember that. But it's like...I haven't written anything! I feel like I'm stealing credit I don't deserve. And I don't. I help you maybe by giving you someone to test your ideas out on. And even if I did help you out with plot or something, it's still your story. Adding me makes me feel guilty, silly :P

Oh, those are always interesting to read! People tend not to keep up on that, though. I know you two would :)

AND I'm happy you've converted to Mibba. Granted, I felt it was better when I first joined (I don't remember when) but it was. It's sorta sucky in some aspects, but nice for writing...whatever. My point is that you're converted! :D

Lol. I rarely write cheesy. I'm more into writing about supernaturally stuff. But I try to stay away from werewolves and vampires. I used to loooooove them but because of Twilight, I don't want to be like everybody else. I want my work to be original.
