Well, the looks thing is because we're teenagers, once we're older, that stuff is gone. (:
Ugh. I know what you mean. Fortunately, my dad's not a bitter drunk, but he's just a bitter person. My mom says I'm like her, but I'm really not. She says I look like her, but I really don't.
I'm scared to tell my mom that I'm depressed. She has OCD so she feels depressed a lot and I'm scared to tell her that I might've inherited it. Plus, she might think it's for attention. I'm in the same boat. My dad threatened not to take me on vacation to Egypt to visit family unless my acne cleared up because he's embarrassed to have an ugly daughter.

Parents suck. This is why I'm never gonna be one.

Because she's younger, has no acne on her face, has straight hair, and is actually pretty. That's why. Since I'm apparently the ugly daughter and my mom's shallow (she's not too awful when she tries, but extremely shallow) and my dad's semi-shallow, there's some math:
Her=pretty
Pretty=gets whatever she wants
Me=ugly
Ugly=gets nothing unless she gets help.

And that is what happens when your parents decide that having a personality is VASTLY less important than looking good. No lie. I was like, "Mom, what's better; personality or looks?"

My sister is such a bitch. She thinks that just because she's on the track team, she's a 'runner'. It's a no cut sport---if you had to try out, she probably wouldn't have made it. Eurgh, she's such a fake. Honestly. If I wanted to try out, my parents would've flat out said no, but of course, she gets to do whatever the hell she wants because she's the 'good' kid.
