if he said it would be fine, then most chances are it's fine. guys are like that, they'd rather speak the truth than lie to make you feel better. don't worry about it, just say your sorry and that you didn't mean to, and that you'll be careful next time. then maybe get him an itunes gift card or something to make him feel better.
