That's exactly why I do it. I tend to write pretty short stories, so the shorter the chapters, the more there are. :)

Ah the ethics. Yeah, I guess there are a lot of lawyers who use em, and don't. Like......divorce lawyers (I'm forgetting how to spell the word now) who use their dirty tricks and all that.
But ethics; moral ethics...what a drag. I can see how people would want to disregard them.

Sometimes it says zero readers when there's actually more than that. I have one story with over a hundred subscribers and comments on every chapter, and it says I have no readers for the last few chapters. I know that to be false.

I don't think there's a standard. I try to keep mine fairly short, though.

I'm hatin' every minute of it.
My OKlahoma History/Government teacher is an ass.
He and I bump heads alot.
He's all "OKLAHOMA FOREVER! <3"
And I personally hate this dry flat boring state.
And besides, he constantly reminds me that "My Kind" Is the lowest form of human beings there is.
So, :)
