Totally just wrote out this amazing long comment, but Mibba crapped out on me. Let's see if I can remember it verbatim... ;)

Please don't ever apologize for writing long comments... I absolutely love them. And you'll see that I end up writing twice as much back, so if anyone should feel bad, it's me...

Yep, I know how you feel -- I hate making poor Tommy upset as well. I kind of weeped my way through the second part of this last chapter, haha...

Lára is... she's interesting. Almost naïve, but not, you know? Sort of whimsical and usually pretty positive. But then, it's not like she doesn't experience sadness.

Haha! Yeah, I'm really into switching things up lately, what with the languages thing. :) It's actually surprisingly hard to write a whole long conversation in broken English, and have the characters say things like [i]they[/i] would say them. For example, Lára has more of a book/classroom knowledge of English, whereas Tom has less knowledge but more field experience, so to speak.
And then there's Icelandic... it's a crazy language, let me tell you... but it's also really beautiful.
Here's a quote I found one day while moseying around Tumblr:

So yeah. I'm not Icelandic. I'm not pretending to know the language, and I probably never will. But it's pretty darn fun to blurt out random crap to impress strangers. ;) Halló, ég heiti Dori og ég er að læra Íslensku!

It was funny as fuck though. I mean, I was laughing so hard I was crying. There were literally tears running down my face

I'm good. My mom was talking about video taping my cat and this is what she did:
Mom: *pans imaginary camera slightly out* Is it an ass?
*pans camera in* Or is it balls?
*out* Ass?
*in* Or balls?

That was all about my cat's stomach too

I really never wanted to take French so I'm glad we don't have it at my school

My school doesn't even HAVE French, only Spanish and German

I thought most schools had German...

I'm good. Had to take a test in German, Science, and Algebra :/ I hate tests

I would freak out. I'd fly to Cali, find where they live, and cry to them, wanting their music back

That and they're taking some time off to reevaluate and stuff

I wanna go so bad! But they won't be touring much for the year so they can write and shiz like that.

No :/ But my dad was supposed to buy tickets last year for a show and never got them. I even gave him the money for my ticket! (My parents won't let me go alone)

No clue. She keeps asking for my username so she can go read but she'll never know it unless I give her my computer password. That'll never happen

I don't want my mom to read mine. She freaked out on me last February after reading something from a notebook I had part of a story in.

I'm good. My mom's threatening to make a Mibba account to read my stories because I won't let her o.O
