Actually that's a lie because I used to love American accents, but you hear it so much in the media that we're all just used to it, I think. But we did have this American who lived here for two years and then he went back home and now he's coming back in two weeks for a holiday so I'm excited to hear his accent more to see him
American accents just vary a lot, I think, like some of it is quite boganish but then when some people talk it's like wow amazing.

I like to think that Aussies have it better on the holiday front, because when you add it up, we only go to uni for half the year. Plus our summer break has Xmas/New Years and our Australia Day (like your 4th of July) so I think it's nicer to have a long break during that time than being in school.
A lot of private schools finish early December, but most schools finish mid Dec, like a week before Xmas - is that what you guys do?

Aussie men are good, well depending on where you go but generally they make em pretty nice.
Unfortunately the girls are just as good looking so it's hard to snag a hot guy when they're surrounded by the hot girls

All good, I learned about the US through TV and it's not like Aussie shows are showed much in the States, so
We also don't celebrate Halloween or Thanksgiving or any US related holidays for obvious reasons, but we do have halloween parties Down here, we try to create any excuse to drink.

Ah yeah, a lot of the skiers/snowboarders do that. My friend used to ski for the school team and every summer break they'd go up to Canada to ski. We get snow, but only up in the hills and even then sometimes we have to generate fake snow.

A whole month in Thailand? Ah, I can see how that would get boring. I think a week or two is fine, but a month away is a bit tricky. I went to the US for six weeks a few years ago, but we also went to Fiji and Canada along the way so it wasn't too bad

For some reason, I always thought you americans got like, three solid months of break, and I used to be jealous, until I remembered that we got more holidays during the year so it all balanced out hahaha.

I'm on break at the moment for another month, I think? Generally schools get two-three weeks but since I'm in uni we get a month - six weeks off. It's our mid semester break, so. At the end of the year though we get almost four months, so I'm fairly happy about that

The furthest I've gone into Korea per say is the music, I've never tried korean food or anything like that. I'm not a huge fan of asian food in general - I like some stuff but I prefer my curries I'm weird though, I don't like sushi but my old Japanese teacher's wife made really good sushi so I liked that. But not any other types of sushi
