Sharing is very important, mainly because it will eventually -- hopefully -- remove the stigma. If we dare speak up, it might help others to do the same, show them that there is no shame in speaking up about your problems and seeking the help they deserve. I think your blog was incredibly strong and I admire you for sharing such a difficult story with us here on Mibba. If you even need to vent and talk, I'm here for you. Though, I bet you have a lot of friends around here who'd do the same :) <3

It's really depressing not being able to write, and my friends don't really get it. Probably why I keep coming back to mibba. I hope you get the job! It sounds incredible.

A month free of drinking is a really positive step. How is it going so far?
I can't seem to actually sit down and write anything solid. It's just odd paragraphs that fit in to the big picture somewhere. That's part of the reason I'm checking in here every now and then, I hoped I'd get inspiration by reading stuff on here and maybe revisit some of my old stories. To be honest, most days I get home from work and I only have the energy to watch something on Netflix before I pass out haha.

Hi! I want to thank you so so much for the comment on Anamnesis! I think I only come online once every few weeks when I have the time so I am just seeing your comment. And it means a ton that you like my story so much! I had only intended it to be a one shot but I think it is definitely growing into something more. The questions you asked in your comment have me thinking and now I'm world building! It might take me a while but I hope to write some more and get it posted!

Yeah, absolutely! I mean, I don't really know much other than Scottish accents, so it doesn't really make it any easier to like them, haha. Oh, the Irish have amazing accents. There are a few departments at my work that are based in Northern Ireland and I just love chatting to them, haha. I've not heard of it, no! I'll definitely need to add it to my list of things to check out.

Really? I hate the Scottish accent. Then again, I guess it's maybe different because I'm surrounded by them all day. I don't even like my own accent, I think it sounds really awful. Frightened Rabbit are really good! There's also a band that I used to go to school with called Fatherson, who are insane so I'd definitely recommend them. I think they actually toured part of the US this year, but don't quote me on that. They're getting really big in the UK at least, though. Yeah, I'm sure my friend said he thought Sam was lovely when he met him. Ah, fair enough. Does sound rather dodgy, haha.

It''s very quiet around here. That was one of the first things I noticed when I came back though. I took a quick look in the forums and they're far less active than before.
Oh that's not long at all. At least you've had some time to prep for the interview though. You'll walk it, and I shall forever be jealous haha. It would be bloody amazing to see you!

I'm going to Iceland in March and spending my birthday in Dublin. Hopefully take a trip to Edinburgh or Berlin in the summer. And I need to get some sun, probably go somewhere cheap and cheerful for that though.
Do you have any travel plans? Or are you more of a spontaneous trip taker?

It's not the most incredible country on the planet, but we've got a few decent things to offer up. I think it's just because if any band manages to break out of Glasgow / the west coast, then they've managed something crazy. There's only a few bands nowadays that I can think of that've actually managed it, and Twin are one of the ones that I can think of. Haha, that's pretty cool! I've never really gotten crazy into Twin (my friend is absolutely in love with Sam though, he literally thinks the sun shines out of his arse and it amuses me more than anything) but that's still fairly awesome! Haha, I honestly have no idea if he does or not but I'd 100% take those bets.
