Forgot to add that i have my Mike Green moments.. but because i have a natural aversion to the Caps they are few and far between lol. The only reason i pay any attention to them is cos i know i'll be going to their games next season.

Yea, not too sure on Cristo.. He has his good moments, like the superman save the other night, but then he lets through a couple easy-ish deflections 26 secs apart?? I know the D isn't exactly working so flash atm, but still.. it's his job to put up with the pressure. I dunno if it's him getting worse, or just the team as a whole not quite working properly. Whatever it is though, it's frustrating as hell!

Yea, my sis was real lucky. Although now her insurance company is stuffing her around, talking about maybe not paying out the claim cos she's had 2 speeding tickets. If they're willing to take her money, and the cops and the guy himself who crashed are saying it wasn't her fault at all.. they really can't do jack about not paying.
It's just really annoying, cos since they aren't doing anything with it yet she can't get a rental car so she's borrowing mine.

Thank you, I'm glad you liked it. Yeh, there's just something about Sidney that I like, but there's also a hundred things I don't like, so I'm just trying to reflect that frustration in my story. Hopefully it comes across that way =]

HAHAHAHAHA Ovie just made Smashed Em Bro [wacky sports news shows biggest hits of the week] for his hit on Bobby Ryan. NHL makes it in there 2 weeks in a row!! You know i'm stoked bout that... but it'd be a ton better if they hadn't called Bobby Robbie, or if they said Patrik Elias' name right last week LOL

Sorry it's taken me a while to get back to ya.. After the game the other day i had to go out 4 my aunt's bday dinner. My sis got her car totaled on the way [it's in about 6 pieces lol] but she's all good, just a lil bruised. Some idiot just decided to drive straight through a stop sign in front of her. So that was a real fun night..

Oooo we finally got the tv schedule for the olymipcs =D As soon as i saw it i highlighted all the guys hockey games LOL Kinda pissed the USA vs Canada game is on a mon tho.. Of course it'd be a day when i'm at work. But at least there's a ton of replays and i can always tape it. Also kinda psyched that i'll be home alone for pretty much the whole 1st week of em so i wont get bitched at for being slightly obsessive =] I can't help that i like watching sport.. and snow.. so putting them together makes me a lil crazy =D

Ahhh the hotties list! Well, it really isn't that long since i only really follow the Pens and Hawks closely. Aside from most of them and TJ, there's Zach Parise, Tuomo Ruutu, the Eric brother, Jose Theodore, Ryan Getzlaf isn't too bad, and i'm sure there's a couple others but my brain is a lil fried atm. My 1st hockey crush was Joe Sakic [the dude might not have been so hot, but damn was he awesome!] and i always loved Patrick Roy and Mary Brodeur. I generally like guys on performance over looks.. or if they have a cool name - like Keith Tkachuk, or Vinnie Lecavalier. And i've always been big into goalies, not too sure why lol

I absolutely love your stories...as for my favorite hockey team it would definitely have to be the Chicago Blackhawks....but for my favorite player, that would probably be a pretty long list!

That rocks so much the team got you all that gear!! We don't get anywhere near that excited over winning championships.. We just have a big drinking session all weekend LOL I love our team too, they're all my boys, some who've been round a few yrs are almost like family. It's always cool whenever any of them make provincial or national teams too.
You're right.. Rugby is a badass sport!! How many other full contact sports don't have ANY protection as part of the usual uniform?? Maybe 10% wear headgear, a few have shoulder pads, but they're all only rubber foam, not the hardout plastic most sports have. And i love than anyone can play it. As long as you can run and catch a ball you're sweet =]

I don't actually play rugby - i've partially dislocated my right knee 3 times (all in just over a yr) so im kinda screwed for playing. I've been involed with rugby since i was a baby though. My sis and i always used to go every sat when my dad played, and since he gave up playing he's been in the management of our club's senior men's team. My sis and i help out too, being officially considered management for the last 4 yrs. The club only started up a women's team 2 yrs ago too, and there's no way i'd ever even THINK about associating with another club.
It's awesome your brother got you into it!! I know it's not a very big sport over there, so him even knowing about it makes me =D It's the best sport ever (well, maybe tied with ice hockey) haha

I know what you mean about growing up in a city and then having it change completely when you move. I only lived in the suburbs, but it's still a lot quieter living out here. I lived in the 2 biggest cities in the country til we moved out here 6 yrs ago.

I'm sure they'll put the Fraz action on BHTV.. if not i'll spam them with complaints!! HAHA I was just watchin the vid of him and Troy [what is it with those 2?? lol] at the aquarium. OMG that shit is funny!! LOVE when Troy got soaked. I was seriously having trouble breathing, i was laughing that hard.

I know what you mean about livin in the country.. well, kinda. I live like 20 mins from the city, out past farms n stuff in a lil town. It's not too bad though, only takes me 25/30 mins to drive in to work in the middle of the city. And luckily i have a place with free parking only a 5 min walk away.

Yea, i guess it's a lil like Bengay. Do you guys have Deep Heat there? The stuff i have is more of a sports warmup tho, just to make sure muscles are warm before a game sorta thing.. works the same, and the smell is sooooooo good! I'm addicted to it since i grew up around rugby clubs where it gets used a lot before games and with injuries and stuff.

Ahh so i just had a 3 hr convo with my best friend in MD and she's all excited to go to a hockey game with me next season =] Turns out her dad used to take her when she was young. And i picspammed her with a heap of Pens and Hawks guys, so she's enthusiastic bout seeing either team LOL

Ahh how awesome did Antti play today? lol He might not have faces too many shots, but damn did he have some nice saves. And did you see the interview with Eags after? How droolworthy is he/his accent?? Well the accent maybe only to me lol

My back is doin a heap better, still sore but no more spasms or pain from just moving =] I can't really complain too much, cos it means i get to live with my favourite smell (linement) for a bit longer =D Kinda lucky we have a big tub of it in the garage from rugby lol
