Awe you have exams in January? That’s awful!
I don’t have any exams yet, still waiting for the quarter to start so I'm happy about not having to study for a bit. And even though I know I shouldn’t say this, I am glad you’re procrastinating haha I'm honestly hooked on Fading, Like the Stars!

ooh you did? I'm jealous! All of Belgium just seems so rad. I don’t know, I feel like it’d be a great country to travel by train and just really take in the sights and cultures . . . and the chocolate. Can’t forget the chocolate. I feel like I’d alternate between taking in the local beers and chocolate.
That sounds like a long time away, but I'm sure the months are just going to zoom by, and you’ll be a certified teacher soon enough! A lesson on Manet sounds like it’d be fascinating. I remember when I was in primary school, there was this thing called the gate program, and we had two weeks of art history lessons and even though the teacher wasn’t that passionate about it, it was a lot of fun, so I can only imagine how enjoyable your lesson on it must have been since you’re so passionate about art.
Ah! were you able to write anything that day or was it one of those moments when you were just so pumped to write, but just didn’t have a moment to really sit down and do it?

That makes sense. I was wondering why there’d been a lack of updates, but you having to prepare lesson plans definitely explains that. That’s so exciting! When are you roughly scheduled to get your teaching certificate? And random aside, I met another Belgian on Mibba who’s a teacher, except she’s on the Dutch speaking side of the country (I don’t know if you are to, I just sort of assumed you’re on the French side because you speak French), and I don’t know, I just thought it was interesting to meet another person who’s doing the same career. though now I think I may be the only one who finds that interesting hah
I can’t wait to read the ideas that have been stuck in your head! I know they’ll be absolutely brilliant :)

Ah that’s so exciting! And good thinking with getting classes later in the day. It’d be a fucking pain to have to wake up mad early to catch the train. haha I know what you mean. it’s amazing how quickly we get unaccustomed to things we were once so used to. It’s like with the difference from high school to college. in high school it was class for most of the day, and in college, I can’t fathom being at school for more than four hours at a time.

Ah!! Now I really wish I could steal that notebook for an hour or two! If only I could apparate or had a TARDIS, but alas, I do not, so I’ll have to impatiently await its being published!

That happens to me all the time. I think I’ll be able to finish up an update, but it turns out that I was a little too ambitious. But I'm really stoked about the fact that it’s almost done! What I would give to get a hold of that notebook haha. that’s awesome! I’ll be looking forward to the evening :)
btw does the train riding mean you started uni again?

this is a somewhat random question, but I was just wondering if you might be updating tonight.
I'm contemplating whether or not I should go to sleep at the moment, and decided to go ahead and ask before I stayed up waiting for an update that may not happen hah.

that makes me want to see Europe via train.
it seems like it'd be a rad adventure and a lot more exciting than taking planes everywhere

Awe I suppose the chocolate and beer will have to make up for the lack of gingers then haha oh fuck. Belgium really is close to everything. It’s amazing how short a distance you have to travel to be in a different country. It’s like traveling from LA to Las Vegas. Hmm, I’ll have to go to the Netherlands one day, their soccer team is always filled with handsome men and if I go to Ireland, I know I’ll lose myself with the gingers in that lush countryside!

Haha she should’ve taken you with her! You would’ve loved San Francisco, it’s a very liberal, very beautiful city. And if you pop across the bay you could’ve visited Berkeley! It’s a beautiful campus and the people there are pretty friendly, even the homeless that seem to make their way there are pretty alright, some have real interesting stories to tell. And there are also free music festivals in SF. There’s one called the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass festival, that’s where I saw Robert Plant. I had to climb a tree to get a good view, but it was worth it!
