Yeah, I know! I originally didn't plan for Joren to reunite with them until the very end of Overture when he went to the Castle for the wedding, but I just missed em too damn much :)
Haha, I don't think it rings. It'll just flash really brightly until the mage that it is directed to feeds their magic into the mirror and forms a link with the person "calling". That's how I think of it anyway. Ugh, I'm so excited to write this next chapter, but my parents are forcing me to go shopping with them :(
