It is a Hollywood and Movie/Fame comparison. It can be interpreted that Fame destroys this relationship in the poem, or the way I look at it - a relationship is like a screenplay. Things go wrong, and ideas are thrown out the door, and things get rewritten and tried to be worked out. After a while though, too much work leads to the crumbling of the relationship.

haha. Sorry if I got carried away with that. I like analyzing.
