You're telling me-She's not cool, she's abusive! She smacks me around every time we meet XD Heheh, I don't mind though.
Me? I'm self taught. But keep in mind, I've studied for a few years adn I have text books, hand books, and dictionaries.. I wish I had someone to speak to verbally too ):
Prepositions? Well, I guess it depends on which one ou're talking about... Like, wa goes after the subject. This of it meaning like, "as for.." or "speaking of..."
Example, watashi wa baka desu. As for me, I am stupid.
Geddit? Not to say that goes for all particles, or that's the only way to use wa... God, I don't know if I helped at all XD
No, I don't want to call her that-..Though she is scary sometimes. She was at my house yesterday and she gave me a bruise when she pinched me!
You should learn those first before learning Kanji, but they're easy enough.
Yea-Most novels are written top to bottom. Like, I'm reading a book in Japanese right now and it's written top to bottom. And yea, in my experience it's written in the same direction as English when it's written horizontally.
Sentence structure can be tricky.. Just remember that verbs go last xD
okies. So when I was little, my mom wanted me to be bilingual. The deal was my dad would only talk to me in english & my mom would only speak french to me. Well, it went on like that for awhile until my parents realized something. I wouldn't speak english anymore. I only spoke french. My mom took me to meet my preschool teacher after this happened and I told my teacher "Hello, Ms. Cindy, my name is Jade. It's very nice to meet you." in french. My mom had to teach me english again after that since I would only speak french and now the little french I speak is just the few words I remember from when I was little. XD
Hehe, she doesn't know that I'm learning it for her though... I'm gonna surprise her someday! ...And hopefully not embarrass myself doing it lol.
Well, Kanji, to me, isn't too overly difficult if you can believe it. Basically, if you learn the radicals (the parts of kanji), it's not too bad. Do you know hirgana or katakana?
