:) I'm sure they are going to be great ideas. But yeah, sure I don't mind if you run ideas by me. I'll give you my honest opinion of course and help you if one happens to be a flop - not saying one will be - but you never know. But yeah, I'll help you all you need. :D

Awesome! Just let me know when you do get one. :)

I totally get what you mean, because you are restricted to what you can do. But I think it's a great starter for beginners. Kind of like training wheels or something lol. Because like I said, you have the whatever it is your fanfic-ing on to fall back on. But yeah, it's fun when you get to be more original. Let your ideas run wild. lol.
Oh gosh, my stories on there are dead awful lmao. But my username on there is 2shy2fly
Haha that totally makes sense, no worries. I get what you mean. Of course you have to tweak the character bit, especially if they aren't the main characters ie Harry Potter or Ron Weasley. So you do have more room to play around with the minor characters.

Lmao, same here. I get discouraged haha. I'm like...that's crap. haha.

I know! Plus it felt more...like your own, I guess? I don't know how to word it exactly. I just liked the whole thing better.

Yeah! See, I don't care for the name either but it just fit, luckily. lol.

No problem. If you ever have any questions or need advice then I'm happy to help you out and answer them the best that I possibly can. :D

Haha. Usernames are hard to think of. I've had a couple of them. Seclue, 2shy2fly, and now Skyerocket.
The newest one is my favorite and I'm surprised I didn't think of it sooner lmao. Just think of nickname or something that relates to you, I guess? Seclue came from Secluded lmao. Idk why I even thought of that. I just like the name, I suppose. 2shy2fly came from...well II'm pretty shy so I was 2shy and then fly rhymed with shy so, there we go.
Skyerocket. came from my nickname. All my guy friends sing that song Afternoon Delight whenever I come around because my name is Skye. So they're always like "Skyrocket's in flight!" then the they do the whistle thing. So I was like, eh, it makes a good username lmao.Luckily they don't sing the rest of that song. So nasty lmao.

Haha thanks! lol.
Fanfictions are always the best when you're starting off with a story because you always have the book, show, movie, ect. to fall back on.
Draco Malfoy? That was one of my stories that I've ever written...well wrote and finished. lol. But that's over on quizilla.
Just remember to make the characters stay in character and stay close to the book or movie. Don't totally go way off from the general HP idea. HP readers can be seriously picky, believe me. They'll call you out on anything.

I get depressed whenever I read over my stuff. I'm like "eh this is crap!"
lol.
Exactly! That kind of thing helps, you know? It's always nice when people help you out with that kind of stuff because you want your stories to be the best that they can be.
Awwee, I'm sorry. Quizilla - they can be nasty over there. I got lucky enough over there though. But I left quizilla after they changed everything. I was pretty upset; I loved that site. lol. I still go on there though, to check messages and what not.
But don't let those guys get you down! Trust me, they're not worth it. Just make sure you don't have any Mary Sues!

Hmm well, usually I try and think of some of my favorite names, or ones that I kind of think fit my character. It's never easy, though. I go to babynamesworld.com for help sometimes. I'll look up the name meaning or origins and such. It helps.
But, like for Grace, I had a horrible time picking out her name. I'm not a big fan of the name (not that I don't like it, it's just not one of my favorites) and I tried so hard finding and using another name, but in the end Grace stuck.
I'm not sure what other advice I can give you. Sorry :(

Lol well I hope it's exciting. Or exciting enough. :)

Yeah, don't worry about that kind of thing. I mean it's a good idea to have an idea of what you want to happen in the story but you don't need to know every little detail. Think of it as a coloring book. Have the outline then color it in as you go.

Hahaha it wont be anything to brilliant....unless I think of a way to do that lol. Maybe...hmm...

They are picky, I've been lucky enough where I haven't had that many people picking on me and my grammar. But as long as you try your best and spell check it read it over a couple of times (that's always been hard for me, I hate reading over my stuff lol) then you should be fine. And don't worry, if someone does point out any mistakes it's mainly because they want to help you. Unless they're being rude about it...then they're just trolls and you don't need to pay any mind to trolls. Their opinion doesn't matter. Anyways, remember to write mainly for you and your enjoyment.
I know that kind of sounds cheesy and a lot of people don't do that but still..you should have fun with it. And like you said, no one is perfect.

Yes, you definitely have a reader in me!

You're welcome!
:)

Yes, it comes into the reason why Sophie is the way that she is.
Why she doesn't like relationships or anything like that.

Aww hmm well that happens to me too haha. So you're not alone in that.
For planning, well, I don't always have everything planned out. I'm not a huge outline kind of person until I get towards the last five chapters of a story.
But I always know certain things that I want to happen in my stories. I just go with the flow, basically.
Like for Starry Nights, I know basic things. Like how I want her and the twins to meet. I know mostly how I want it to end. But I don't know what I want to happen in chapter three or ten or anything like that. I just have key points.
So maybe that'll help you a bit? Know the basics on what you want to write and then just go for it. Stories should be journeys, I think.

As for grammar...well I fail at that too haha. But don't let it stop you! Honestly!
Just spell check the hell out of it, you know? And then read it out loud to yourself because that's what will help you decide where a period or a comma should be. Also it'll help you see if words flow together nicely.
But remember you're going to have errors. I don't know how many times I went over the first draft on Starry Nights and when I thought I finally got everything, well I didn't haha. I noticed a bunch of errors after I posted it. Just remember that no one is perfect. :)
And you can always get a beta too. I hear they help lol.

Awesome! Definitely let me know if you do!

Awe, thank you! :) I try to be, at least lol.
And you seem like a very nice person as well!

Fingers crossed that it will. There's going to still be a few confusing things, for example: her dad.
We find that out later. :)

You should write stories and post them on here! I would totally read them :D
I'm always looking for a good story to read.
And don't worry, I get nervous about posting things on here as well. I just about had a panic attack posting Starry Nights. Luckily hellomynameis... really helped me and pushed me to post it. :)

If you ever do decide to post something, let me know! I'll definitely check it out.
And trust me, it's a satisfying feeling when you post something and someone comments on it. I highly suggest that you try it. I don't think you'd be disappointed. :)

No problem! :)
I love talking to people. And besides, it's the least I can do when people take the time to leave story comments, you know?

lol. It should be simpler this time around. Less characters so it shouldn't be too confusing. :D

And thank you, again, for the story comment and letting me know it was getting too confusing. it helps, because I don't want my readers to be too confused.

Thank you so much for the story comment. Yes it's a bit difficult, it's not your fault at all.
Which is why I'm re-writing the Starry Nights, so it'll be less confusing. :)
Hopefully....lol
