Same here, never know how it could affect someone with just a simple comment that you enjoy their writing.
Good to know, there are too many well written fanfics that are discontinued out of nowhere.

The comments and recommendations are always great to me because people are actually taking time out to do that, it's all really amazing to me.
Might I suggest maybe having a co-author to avoid that problem? It may help you out significantly. Just a thought of course.

Hahah, I remember feeling like that when I first started my fanfic, after a little while I feel like you get into it once you have more readers and motivation to keep going with it. :)
I hope you don't get bored with it either, I'd be terribly sad if you did. I believe you have a lot of potential with what you have down thus far.

You're welcome darling, it really is an interesting start because you've left so much room for your readers to make their own assumptions so in the end they crave more from you to see if their guesses are correct.

I know, right?! Every once in a while I go check the stats, just to remind myself that I'm not crazy and it actually exists. Blows my mind every time that I see it. I've gotten pretty used to the new mibba at this point, but I'm not very keen on the fact you can't block people. Meh. I can't sleep. When in doubt, I'll get up and get a sleeping pill. I'm just not tired. I'd post it now, but I can't be assed to get out of bed to find my thumb drive. I think it's in the living room and that's about twenty feet too far away. xD

I've got nine chapters and the epilogue left on Hopelessly Devoted and that will be the final end to it. But really, that's not the first time someone has told me they've read almost all of my stories, so it's really not that creepy at this point, actually, I think you're the third or fourth that has flat out said it. It's flattering, but still blows my mind. I mean, I don't really read a lot on this site, but what I do read, doesn't have nearly the fan base that Calling You does. I mean, I've got fifty-three recommendations. Fifty-three! It's crazy! Fuck, less than a month ago it only had nine. Sorry, I live in Alaska, it's four in the morning and I'm half asleep, so I got distracted and started rambling. I also got distracted explaining that. Wow. I'm just going to stop typing and press submit now...

Well to be honest, I haven't been writing much because I'm out of pot and been sober. (Not that it's my inspiration, I just have a short attention span and it helps me concentrate.) But I intend to pick up sometime this weekend, so I'm sure I'll be back to writing soon. Define Beautiful is at the top of my list of stories to update. I've got two chapters of Calling You already written and I'll post one of those when I wake up tomorrow. Calling You will end at chapter thirty, and I'll probably write up the first chapter of the sequel before I post the last chapter, so you'll have something to go read when it's done. (: Because I'm ending another one of my stories, Hopelessly Devoted as well, I'll probably write another Ben Bruce story, just depends on the ideas that come to mind between now and then. (:

Haha I can only guess how happy you are, but I'm flattered that it's one of your favorites. Yeah, I actually had every intention of just letting the story go bad and letting it end bad, because no one ever has sad endings, but I love my readers too much to do that to my most popular story. Fair warning though; it's all downhill from here in Calling You. Got to end on a sour note. By the waaay, cheers for all of the recommendations on my stories. :)

Admittedly, Calling You was never meant to end well. However, I'll let you in a secret; I've got a sequel in the works.

thank you for the kind comments about my stories! i'm glad you like 'em! the plan is to finish them, and they're not exactly on hiatus... but my motivation is slightly weak for them. i'm on spring break this week so i am planning to knock at least a chapter out for each story. sorry about the lack of updating! blahhhh :)
