how was yours?

It was pretty good. Me and my brothers put up our christmas tree while my mom made dinner. then some family come over, we ate, then me and my cousin watched beauty and the beast and the little mermaid. i had work early the next morning so i was in bed by 10:30, but it was a good time.

lol, yea, whenever people find out we're related they always think i'm the older one...and i'm like 2 years younger! lol, that's sad on his part lol. it didn't snow too much yesterday, not enough for it to stick anyways. but it usually snows a lot when it gets going. last year i remember my little brother didn't go to school for a week cuz of one storm. it didn't snow nearly as much where i got to school (even though i still had 2 days of no classes) but they showed me pictures online and my brothers car was covered in snow...he couldn't even get into it. so yea, it snows a lot up here. a year hasn't gone by where we haven't had at least [i]one[/i] snow day (the only perk to snow). i'm not a big fan of it myself

haha yea thats what we call ourselves. it was amazing...REALLY well done. i can't wait for the 2nd film. and im so jealous you can chill outside right now, it's snowing here! and being home was cool the first night here--now i remember why i like not being around my family, haha. my older brother just woke me up by barging into my room and jumping on top of me. then he reached over and pulled my curtain aside 9cuz my bed is close to my window) to show me the sun, which of course let a huge amount of light in...yeaaa, [i]totally[/i] missed being home. did i mention he's almost 21? real mature...

haha, and you know when you think texas you think barbeque, so lockhart's pretty important ;)

me, i'm finally home!!!!!! i'm going to the movies in a bit to watch harry potter again but this time i'm going with my brothers, my cousin and my aunt. should be a fun time because me and my cousin are such harry pot heads (lol) and criticize everything thats not the same as the book. should be interesting, ppl usually get frustrated with us when we go watch the movies together, especially my uncle, but he's not coming this time so oh well. lol. how about you? how's texas?

Oh wow, sploosh ball sounds intense! did you get the name from the movie Holes? And new york is okay. I guess I don't think its as cool because I was born and raised there, but I like it. When ppl hear nyc they think times square and madison square garden and stuff but i didn't live in that area. i lived in the bronx and spent a lot of time in uptown manhattan(like 170th street and up until the end of the island). i didn't go downtown too often and when i did it was always really busy. but i also moved to PA right before my 14th bday, so anytime i went out it was with my parents...never by myself, lol.

oh good old traditional thanksgiving day stuff. haha, but what's sploosh ball?

my family doesn't do anything too exciting. before we used to get together with either my mom's family or dad's family but since we moved we haven't done anything special. sometimes we'll drive to NYC and have dinner but my parents usually work so we can't go. we just have a small dinner at our house. i think i'm scheduled to work this year on thanksgiving which sucks, but at least i get paid time and a half :/

aww, i'm sorry you were under the weather :( that's no fun! but i'm glad at least you're better. having to catch up probably won't be too much fun, but i'm sure you'll be able to do it :)

i am SO STOCKED for thanksgiving, not only do i get to get out of school for a few days, but i get to stuff my face and it's perfectly acceptable cuz everyone else is doing it too :D does your family do anything special for the holiday?
