Well, I can see what you mean. I think the parents were really just completely cold because of the guilt. I go into more detail with that in the sequel. Peyton's parents don't really care because, well I can't tell you but when you do read the sequel, you'll find out.

Hey! I'm glad you're reading. I know EXACTLY what you mean about the first one. But as I was writing the confrontation with Sammy I knew it was then that Declan needed to tell Emmy...I just hadn't planned for that earlier in the story so it came on as sudden. Someday I may go back and edit. I'm excited for the third one. Feel free to comment with ideas or criticism whenever you want. I think you're one of my oldest readers so it'll mean alot.
