You're entitled to your opinion and if you think it's a sin, go ahead and think that.
But don't for a second believe that it's a choice. I can tell you right here, right now, I would [i]never[/i] pick this lifestyle. I've had to deal with it since I've been handed it by "God", but I wouldn't have picked it. Given the chance, I'd probably change and be straight if I could, but I can't. It's not me. But it's by no means a choice.
If my niece or nephew ever told me that they were gay, I'd be utterly disappointed because of how difficult this lifestyle is.
Trust me, no one should or would pick a lifestyle frowned upon, hated upon and made utterly difficult in day to day life.
When all the girls in my primary school classes would gush over how hot or cute so and so was in the old Girlfriend magazines we had, I would sit on the edge, admiring how the girls themselves looked.
From the day I was born until the day I die, I will never be a "typical" girl. I'll always be slightly different.
But yes, I believe that I was born with an attraction to females. I may have taken a while to figure it out and even longer to come to terms with it, but it's always there.
Trust me, if I had decided to be a lesbian, I wouldn't have wasted four years of my life after figuring it out, hating myself, hurting myself, thinking I deserved pain and punishment, bordering on the edge of life and death as suicide loomed in front of me.
I was born this way. Nothing can change that.
