    As for relating to the character.. mm.. the fighting has never been as extreme in my house, but my parents don't even act like they love each other anymore. So it's just something you learn to live with, like the character does too!

    That's true. Usually shy girls either confuse me, I can't relate to them, or the authors turn them into bad girls super fast. But for some reason, I feel like I can relate to Danni. Plus, it's like rooting for the underdog, which is a sometimes-habit of mine when it comes to books and movies, lol.
