Oh absolutely. Anything that can possibly be attacked for harboring satanism is probably being attacked hahaha. Even though Rowling did have an adult audience in mind (particularly through the fifth, sixth, and seventh books), I'm like 99.9999% sure she didn't want to start a cult or inspire anything. Magic is just fascinating and it was a really original idea on her part, I think that's what people are afraid of.
