Hey, thanks for the journal comment and your book recommendations. I already checked my library's inventory, but unfortunately I couldn't find anything from Gregory Maguire and Barbara Kingsolver, which is a shame 'cause you really sparked my interest there...

Exactly! Haha, and I know if I got in a debate with someone I wouldn't be able to come up with any good responses.

I think I may stick with blogs, but hopefully I'll find the courage to post my opinion on a forum or something. :)

I read poetry too. I just don't read them on here. I don't always have the patience to sift through the poetry section to get to ones that I like. It would be great if you handed me some of your favourites.

I am so sorry, but no, I really can't remember! I didn't pay much attention because I don't write poems. Um, my best guess would be that it's somewhere in the Comment Swap thread. Otherwise it could be anywhere in the forums where people complain and admins/staff tell them it's an update that's in progress. I'm 99% sure I saw an admin/staff member saying it too, not just some random member. Sorry if that's not helpful at all :S

Oh, you're fabulous! It's no problem. I really, really enjoy your poetry. :) And I believe I came across it in a blog. You'd commented on it with a few names of your poems, and out of curiosity I checked them out. And I certainly wasn't disappointed, haha. I'm not usually a fan of poetry (at least not a majority of the poetry I find on here) but your stuff is really honest and open and doesn't go crazy deep into cryptic metaphors and stuff like that. It's just flat out enjoyable.

Have you ever thought about submitting something into a magazine? Or possibly compiling a book of your poems?

You're very welcome for the comments. :) And you really did master it--I loved it. At first, I wasn't exactly sure if it was irregular, so I didn't want to hurt your feelings or anything, thinking that it was wrong when I would be wrong. But I decided to go for it, since it actually was very lovely with the poem.
I'm planning on looking at several more of your poems, since they're some of the best poems I've read in a while. You have such a big career ahead of you--I can feel it. I'm going to probably start working on one of my story chapters now, but I took a loonnng nap today and will be up for a while to read your poems.

You're right, I didn't quite clarify the terms of making use of fragments. But I completely agree that you need to be very good with your grammar before you can start toying around with fragments and incomplete sentences.

Definitely! I don't even think I use a plethora of literary terms, I just tell them how it is. You can also up your word count, if people find it important, by telling them how they're doing it wrong. Like writing dialogue. "Hi," He said. >> Here, "he" should be lowercase because dialogue tags are never capitalized blah blah blah blah, haha.

I hate when people can't put a little effort into some of their comments. It's not hard to hit the 200 character minimum, and to excel past that if you just try a little bit, haha.
