Well, there's no way to be mean unless you flat out tell somebody that their work sucks--which actually isn't nice :(
But yeah, just following a critical statement with a nice statement always helps, they tend to remember the latter and keep the first bit in their head the next time they write.
Haha, I keep too many critic rules in my head. Dammit Theatre Critics Program! Haha.
I'm gonna have to sign out soon, so lates. It's been great meeting you :D
I hope I get a chance to read and review your writing!
Aw, don't worry, people on this site are helpful with criticism. Well, I mean, apart from the whole single praise no constructive bit part, but we all like those 'OMG THAT WUZ LIK GOOD!' comments, right? They make me smile :)
Ha, I actually should try discovering more of the site.
Oh, thanks, I hope you'll enjoy it :)
And I know what you mean. That's why I tend to read stuff by more obscure authors, and not things by overrated ones. Push and Speak are good companies that have great independat writers. Oh, but I always like classics, like A Clockwork Orange, it was like nothing I've ever read before. Haha.
Oh, I still don't even know half of the features on this site XD
As for me, I'm just on youtube, listening to music, facebooking, and I'm supposed to be updating the chapters for my story...which isn't going so well, haha.
