That's exactly what I was thinking when I decided that Carter and Ellis shouldn't get back together! The story is based loosely on Rhode Island, but I never quite specifically name where the characters live. And yes, Mac and Carter weren't quite fond of each other because they both liked Ellis.

Logan is Alex's brother. He has been mentioned briefly throughout the story.

In the story Speechless there's a character named Logan who is dead. I saw in the comments that you were asking who he was. He's Alex Gaskarth's dead brother who committed suicide. In real life I'm pretty sure his name was Daniel, but I don't know for sure. Just thought I'd answer the question for you! :3
