I think it's mostly just the chorus and the way it's sung that make it so good to me. Most of Disturbed's stuff is screamy, and, well... disturbing in a way, lol. But I actually think this song is nice. It always paints a picture in my head about war and love... I don't know if it's really what the song is about, but that's what it makes me think about.
I love the verses: "Take their hope away, take their life away, leaving nothing left inside. When you're out of time, and there's no more pride, when your heart is broken a thousand times, is that enough?"
It just has so much feeling and emotion for me. =)
