Ha-ha. I know what you mean. I do the same things for my characters, hating them even though I love them and could fix things at any point in time. But I guess drama just makes everything interesting. :)

Well, the story type was listed as "True Story" as opposed to "original" or "fanfic." So at first I was like "Huh. This doesn't seem to be the kind of story a guy would write." And then it switched to the girls perspective which wasn't confusing, it was just unexpected because in my mind I was thinking of this as a diary entry as opposed to a story based on an actual event. So yeah, that's why it surprised me. I like the idea though, telling a true event as though it were a story.
