Hehe, I know, I just gave a hefty reply, but I just wanted to do a little advertisment.
I have a writing contest, called Happy-Go-Lucky. Its opened until September 15th, I believe. I'd really like it if you were to enter, and maybe spread the word a little (hehe, do I sound desperate?) I wanted to let some of my readers know through my story, but my computer broke down, so I cant update (Im on my sisters laptop.)
Thanks, (even if you dont enter,) And I love your picture, the little icon I see beside your comments? Pretty ;)
Yeah, we know, its my mothers "master plan" to go after the Olympics. Lord only knows why.
I live in Quebec, which is a primarily French province. My mother always wanted to swap houses with someone in the United Kingdom, you know? They stay at our house, and we stay at theirs? Like the movie The Holiday (seen it? Kate Winslet?) WE SWITCH IDENTITIES! Ha, she thinks it would be a perfect switch, seeing as the company she works at here is also based in Wales (Newscastle Emlyn, though, and I think thats is west Wales...)
The weather is pretty much the same, actually (except for the massive black cloud thing,) its either hot and rainy, or humid and sunny. For the past few summers, its been pouring rain, so were pretty happy at the moment, actually. Fall and Winter come quick here, though. I've started 'Got To Go,'. My computer has broken down right now, so its hard for me to do anything (I'm using my sisters laptop right now. But she needs it to go to college, which starts in two days.) South Wales, huh ;) Remind me to look you up if I ever travel there. Ha. Right now, we're planning our trip to Ireland and decided that maybe we'll head to England, too, so who knows if we'll do all of the United Kingdom while we're at it ;) That probably wont be until 2012, though...
Well, when youve never been out of your own country before, everything seems cooler and more exciting ;)
Do you live far away from St Davids Hall? I've heard of it before. it sounds like an amazing place.
I know this may be an odd/boring question to you, but how is the weather right now over there?Sorry, I'm just curious. I live in one of the wettest provinces in Canada, so I'm used to some rain and storms year-round.
! Youre from Wales??
Sorry, but it's sort of always been my dream to go there. Ha. My family and I always talk about packing up and moving there one day. it's on our list of places to visit, along with Ireland.
I truly envy you right now ;) Canada doesnt feel very fun now.
