That is a wonderful way to look at it indeed! People are unique like you say and it's really fun to get to know them and how they are. Like their quirks and expressions or interests. A lot of times you find people who aren't very complex or interesting as others so it's kind of hard to keep a friendship going because you feel like you're doing all the work. I guess you just feel like some people are bland. I hate to say that because I really don't like judging people. I'll still be friends with someone who is bland or not exciting, but I don't know. It helps if you click with the person ya know? lol I probably didn't explain any of that right and probably made myself sound like a prick, but that wasn't my intention.
Bottom line is, sometimes you feel like you're blindly placing your hand in a cookie jar looking for chocolate chip and all you find is oatmeal cookies. O.o Hahaha you have to meet a lot of "so so" folks before finding that one who makes you think, "Damn, that person is interesting. I feel privileged to know them."
I completely understand where you're coming from. And don't worry you didn't make yourself sound like a prick. I know how it is, you have the friends where they're okay, they're there and you can joke with them a little, but it's not the same as other people. I have those friends, heck, at my school and the group of friends there, it seems like I'm the only crazy one... But, then there's the friends that I have else where, and we're all crazy and laughing and people stare at us like we have 47589478571340895134756 heads. But, you have to go through people and friendships to find the people worth keeping to laugh and really have fun with. I know where you're coming from!
