Thanks so much for leaving a comment on my story! I'm really in awe of the fact that you have the connection with England and Mexico, that’s so strange but so very rad at the same time. I’ve actually visited la Mina de la Valenciana. It was a few years back, but when my family went on vacation to Guanajuato, we stopped by there. Awe thank you so much, your comment has honestly made my night! And that’s so rad about playing rugby! It’s such a great sport and perfect way to work out stress and frustrations. Aww sux you're not having any luck on the job hunt =[ Grrr at ur comp! Sounds to me like it needs a good kick LOL

I haven't had any job luck yet either, and it's not lloking too good any time soon, seeing as on feb 22 my city started disinegrating thanks to yet another earthquake. This time it was only a 6.3, but it was a hell of a lot closer to the city and a lot shallower so the damage is a ton worse. So far i think the body count is up to 168 =[ They seem to have cleared all the cbd bulidings, so hopefully it wont go up too much more.
So yea, the cbd is all cordoned off, they only just opened some of the safer sections over the weekend for business owners and residents to go in and clear out all their stuff. It's looking like 1/4-2/3 of the buildings will need to be demolished and rebuilt.
Luckily my family and friends are all ok. A few cars were crushed, an a case of whiplash, but otherwise everyone is healthy. Our hose got off with no more damage.. the only thing that happened here was a couple cans of deoderant on my desk fell over lol. My aunt, who only had 2 ornaments break in the sept quake lost about 30 more, and has things all over the floor to clean up. Her tv fell over too, but it still goes. Just gunna leave it on the floor for now til things settle down a bit lol
The supermarket my mum works at was totally trashed, there was barely any stock left on the shelves. The day after her and my dad went in to help clean up.. my dad alone cleared 12 wheelie bins full of broken wine bottles. Tooke them 2 days of cleaning and fixing up the ceiling (all the tiles fell down) before they could open again.
My dad's factory had a hole in the roof and some of it's support beams came loose, but they were back in there 2 days later to clean up and get back to work.
My sis has been staying with us since it happened cos her house is still without sewerage and the water is off and on. She does water tessting for the city council too, so she's been flat stick around the city collecting samples and having fun in all the traffic jams on the crazy bumpy roads. She got last tues and wed off but has to work straight through this week. She usually has fri/sat off. In a way she's lucky it happened now.. in 6 weeks her and our aunt are heading over to europe - Greece, Egypt, England.
So yea.. fun times for all down here lol. Hoping the hockey wont be affected.. the stadium they're playing in has been shut until it gets clearance for damages. But there are still almost 5 months til the game, so even if there is damage it should be fixed by then.
No idea on if there will be a club rugby season this yr.. a lot of the grounds and clubrooms have suffered damage, mostly from liquifaction. Apparently our grounds are fine though, so fingers crossed they can work something out.

Not too much else has been happening, understandably. Pens and Hawks are both starting to look really good heading down the stretch to the playoffs. I'm seriously impressed by how well the Pens have done with all their injuries.. How many other teams would still have a winning record with 10 forwards out?? Just goes to show how awesome the organisation is, and that the Baby Pens are completely deserving of their 1st placing in the AHL. At one stage they had their top 7 scorers out plaing fot Pitt. Love the moves they made at the deadline too, even tho i miss Gogo.

How's the job hunt going? I still haven't had any luck here =[

I did find out some amazingly awesome hockey news today though... Canada and the States are playing a series against each other in july/aug IN NEW ZEALAND!!!! Just bought me some premium tix to go with my sis and her friend, row c, seats 3-5, either right by the benches or the penalty box! July 30 i may possibly die of excitement overload lol After the game though, of course!
The only confirmed players so far are the 2 captains, Kyle Quincey (Avs) for Canada and Rob Schremp (Isles) for USA. Can't wait to find out who the other players will be, even tho i'm gunna feel bad for them missing their summer break.. but too bad cos i get to watch them play!!!!!
And cos i got the tix with Visa i'm in the running to win either of their signed jerseys, and to go to a team signing =D

So yea, i'm gunna be on a high til then lol

No, and no. I didn't really have fun. Today it go to like 40 degrees... and we went to the beach. I have never herd so many screeming babies in my hole life :|

but this summer was pretty crappy. I got a tan. But like. It wasn't very hot. Today was the hotest day and its like my last day of holidays :(

YAY you're alive!! Haha it sux you're not having any luck on the job front =[ I haven't either, but i've got my 2nd meeting about going on unemployment tomorrow. Part of the conditions is that i had to apply for 10 jobs and at 3 agencies since the seminar i went to on thurs. Out of all the ones i've looked through, there's only really 1 i would like to get lol

I haven't had much luck on writing any more. I kinda have a scene in my head, but it doesn't wanna come out in words lol Frustrating!

Haha I've been EVERYWHERE! Within my town that is. I'm über busyyyyy and now I'm getting sick and I feel like POOP but I promised Daniela I'd take her to Dolphin mall tomorrow so I CANT get sick! I won't allow it!
