Overland Park is good, it's a suburb located in JOCO (Johnson County), it's nice too. I stayed over there in some duplex when my dad and his gf were dating... But yeah, it's nice, pretty safe too. From what I remember anyway.
Hahaha, thanks!! :D Oh yeaaahhh, I kind of get what your saying about resonance. The yawning thing still makes me feel like dumb, but I shall enbrace it! xD I used to play panio... Like 5 years ago, I play guitar though, if thats any help? I do scales on it SOMETIMES, so would that work out the same if I would do it with a panio?? :)
Lol, I wish I was kidding. *rolls eyes* Poptab necklaces and bracelets, and chains are fine. >.> <.< I made a lot of crap my second year there. Haha. I'm not sure about jobs...Omg, omg, if you live in KCK in the Rosedale area, there is this gas station/conveince store called Tension. I used to go there all the time growing up. Literally, all the time. It used to be called New Wave and even after I grew up, me and all my friends and everyone who lived in the area still called it New Wave. *sighs* Sorry, I'm totally like...going off on a tangent. Haha. I haven't been to KC in years. Anyway...I'm not sure about jobs.
It's smaller than KCMO so it's not really crowded. Cool places...Haha, oh once again, I was a loner back then. I didn't do anything. xD I would just try the mall, Legends, Worlds of Fun, Oceans of Fun (they're amusement parks), etc. I don't know if you're into museums or not, but there was this really cool World War museum and it's the only one in the country that's dedicated specifically to it. It's great...Once again, I was kind of a loser... I actually went there on a field trip for history. >.> <.< Sorry, I'm rambling again...
Lol. No uniforms. Just don't wear safety pins on your clothes. *rolls eyes* You may be a threat. Psh... I made this awesome safety pin jacket that was like...covered in safety pins, it probably had 500, no joke. Anyway, I had to take it off. -_- Oak Park Mall and Legends (in Bonner Springs, slightly outside KCK/KCMO are awesome.
Well I'm a bit out of the loop when it comes to high school trends. Haha. The only thing I really saw was uggs and those drawstring bags everyone has...I think that's basically it. Oh, when I went to Harmon there was a metal detector system. *rolls eyes* I'm not sure if they still have them or not but basically every 5 or 6 kids had to go through them. People got "chose" or the teacher who chose just picked a certain number, like every 7 students had to go through.
awe that's really weird and nice at the same time but mostly nice and awesome
but i'm the co-author so i can't take all the credit because becca is awesome and yeah
Wow, thanks for the tips!! :D That was a lot! I was though a bit confused at the part where you were talking about yawning, and then I was suppose to open my mouth and try and sing without closing my vocal chords?? The breathing thing helped but, I was still a bit fuzzy on trying to think of my voice coming out of my head. I feel like a complete idiot! xD I love LIGHTS too! She is such a good singer! What song of hers can I hear that "resonance" thing? :/ Sorry, I'm asking wayyyy to many questions! ^.^ Hmmm, what about warming up tips? I don't even get how all that "do re me" stuff is suppose to help... Um, yeah, I'm probs giving you a headache right now. xD Sorry!
Well, Wyandotte is really big, plus that school's a bit...rough from what I've heard. I would avoid it. Harmon is good, it has good teachers, at least it did when I was there four years ago. Haha. A lot of kids in my grade sucked but they've all graduated or whatever. I transferred when I moved my sophomore year in another city. So anyway, there's Sumner if you're super smart. It's a private academy. There's Washington, I would avoid it too. I haven't heard good things about it. But yeah... It wasn't real cliquey at Harmon. It was more like...if someone likes someone then they hang out. I was a loner though and not too well liked the whole time I was there so I don't know as much about the cliques.
Oh wow, you'll love KCK then. Haha. It's not as bad as KCMO. Um, it's good. I liked It. For concerts, the plaza and this outlet mall called Legends you'll have to go to KCMO. Which isn't far depending on where you live, I lived literally about ten-fifteen minutes away. Is there anything specific you want to know?
Some tips would be nice, if you don't mind? xD You're lucky you take lessons, I can't find them anywhere in my state. Oh well, but I'm going towards a more "Alternative/ rock" singing (Along the lines of like Hayley Williams, Tay Jardine, or Cassadee Pope sorta) style. I know NOTHING on how to sing. xP Er, so could u please help me... Or give me some pointers on how to improve? :3
Yay, first comment! Thank you, I'm so happy someone finally decided to comment, and I'm so happy you like it!
Just added another update, so check it out!
