Yeah it's been super emotional writing it too :P

my personal crisis is pretty much over. My baby daddy left us. (me and my daughter) It's not hard to talk about anymore. So yeah. So most likley i will be updating more. I just need to get a few days off.

I've just read a whole bunch of you poems and wanted to tell you how amazing they are. I would comment on all of them, but I'm too lazy. They all have this beautiful flow to them and there's a spirit to them. You're amazingly talented. ♥♥♥

I'm trying to make the next chapter really get the story going since people are probably wondering what's going to happen next. And it should be one of my longest chapters since there's a lot that's going to happen. Plus, I just finished watching Almost Famous, so that's given me a lot of inspiration for the next chapter as well (GREAT movie about the 70's rock music scene if you've never seen it) :D

Same. I read obsessively, and do my best to pick up tricks. It's slow-going, but I like to think I've been making progress. Ralph Ellison, the author of Invisible Man, which I had to read for school, did that. He imitated other people's writing until he had a style of his own.

So there's something to be said for the whole process.

Thanks so much for commenting again. And that bit, about emotions? That was what I was focusing on. I didn't know if I'd gotten it quite right, and I'm glad to hear that I at least made one person feel something. Beyond the personal rewards to writing, that's the biggest point to it, you know?
