Dude you told your mom to get out. Thats hardcore! I'd have been furious too. NOBODY ever talks about MCR in a bad way, at least not to me or my bestfriend because they know better. People make fun of us because we're so into them, like quoting LOTMS religiously or randomly rocking out or wearing our Dead! hoodies to work every day but thats different. They can make fun of me all they want, I know I take my fandom a little too seriously but thats the entire point of being a fan! Whats the fun in it if you claim to "love" the band but only halfass it?

Yesterday I rediscovered my love for Fall Out Boy - I hated what they had become like becoming teen magazine coverwhores and Pete's constant spotlight and just.... idk it seemed like they'd lost the magic they used to have and the VMA performance killed me.... I just hated it. Still loved the music but hated what they had become.

Until yesterday. Yesterday was the Voodoo Music Fest here in New Orleans, and they fucking ROCKED it. Like I mean, really just blew me away and made me realize what it was to be their fan again. Every little girl around me knew Sugar and Dance Dance lyrics... but did they bother to sing along to all the other wonderful songs that make them so great? No, because they didnt know the words.

Being a fan is one thing. Claiming to love them is quite another.
Music is the only thing that I take seriously. My favorite bands are my life. MCR is def. #1, but FOB is a 3-way tie for #2 (with The Used & Taking Back Sunday). Ahh anyway. Just felt like ranting for a bit.

And it's my one year anniversary of seeing MCR live for the first time! YAY! They played Voodoo last year and that was my first time seeing them. I'm in desperate need of another MCR show soon.

I'm going to be writing a new chapter sometime today... probably within the next hour or so be on the lookout!

YES. Writer's block fucking sucks. I hate it. It kept me from wanting to even continue my story because I was so afraid of it being redundant like every other Frerard out there... but it's ok because eventually, it'll work itself out and the writer's block you hated sooo much you will thank goodness for because it led you to think of something even better than you could have hoped for.

When I'm writing, (and I swear, this never fails), I write a whole lot then scrap it and rewrite it. Like, I'll start out writing from Frank's POV, then write something completely different from Gerard's and it's so much better than I'd hoped. It's weird. But it usually takes a few tries before I'm happy with what I use in my chapters.

I'm soo afraid of disappointing people because I swear, I'm such a fan of Frerards... but I get turned off so easily by the smallest little things. Like ONE LITTLE THING will fuck it up for me. I'm so afraid I'll do that and turn ppl off. This past chapter was the HARDEST THING EVER for me because I was like, ok this is it. This is THE chapter... this is going to make or break my story because there's no turning back after this. Ppl are going to either love it or hate it.

I think I put too much pressure on myself because I dont want to disappoint anyone. Ahh. I'm a silly girl. Just felt like rambling for a little bit there. Hope you didnt mind me talking your head off! :)
