It does sound like you're comfortable, but I can definitely relate to the feeling of not wanting to let go- it's a long and complicated story, but in short, I haven't seen this guy in almost three years and even though he probably doesn't still love me, I still love him and I can't seem to let go :/

No, it doesn't sound pathetic at all. I used to do that all the time when I was going through hard times with my guy...
If you really like him, then I do suppose it is all worth it to you. But darling, he really doesn't sound like quality boyfriend material :/
