Thanks for your insanely long comment, it meant a lot :) However, I thought I'd clear some things up. Alex did cheat on Aly... a lot. He's ashamed because she was the outcast. He would straight up ignore her in the halls at school with another girl hanging off of him. She caught him cheating more than once. In a lot of ways, she had a reason to do what she did. And she did apologize. I realize how you could see that she's a bitch, but frankly, she has a right. Being ignored by the one guy she loved and cheated on through all five years they've known each other...yeah, I'd be pissed too. A lot of the backstory is the reason why they're both the way that they are. At the end of the day, they're in love. And that's all that matters.
