A Mary Sue in this story wouldn't make much sense, since they lived in the era where it was okay to be a sexual pervert and a murderer. So a perfect girl would just be completely off, they were all bitches back then, lol. Even Virginae with all her sweetness will reveal (is that how you spell it? Damn!) a side of her just gets sort of creepy *not spoiling it any further* XD
Well, it was a bold decision to put this story up in a website filled with weird teens who live in their wet dreams about Synyster Gates and Gerard Way and include Mary Sues in ALL of their stories... LOL! I've always admired Spartacus for being a badass rebel who just believed all men are born free, but I never really had the courage to write about him. Now that the TV series came out, I must admit it gave me a push to write this story. I also have this major crush on Dustin Clare since forever, which is weird because he's not very famous outside Australia. To be honest, at first this story was more an ode to Gannicus but then it just really shifted into a much bigger picture.
I adore how you look at criticism. I wish I could look at it like that, ha.
I think you must have a spectacular vocabulary to write the way you do, even if you think it's minute by minute. But I think description in general is left up to the interpreter. I read you story so long ago, and have gotten a bit of a different message this time around. It's like I'm noticing more in the writing and characters, and it's just really lovely.
Oh my, you don't have to do that. c"x But I don't see how you'd be overrated. But everyone has certain tastes, I guess. But your writing is so lovely. It's rather daring in its description, and I love that about it. c:
Sometimes when I think about it I wonder why I even write. I feel like my writing is so horrid in comparison. xD Oh, it's doing its job alright. It's sosososo lovely. And July is an amazing character. <3
It was more that my exboyfriend was a lie, and I met him through here so I just needed space from this site. Now I want to get back to writing and all that.
