Mannnnn. I have always wanted to go there. It sounds and looks (in movies) so amazing and beautiful.
I love cities, but Brisbane isn't really that big at all. Like considering it's Australia's third (??) biggest city.

Actually, this is the first time I've properly been on mibba in forever. As soon as we got back from holidays, it was like "WHAM!" straight back into school assessment.
The end-of-year report cards have to be done in a couple of weeks, so the teachers are piling on all our final assessment. -_-

I saw Simple Plan the other night. Considering I pretty much despise them, they were good live.
I didn't really know any of their music (asides from the old stuff like "Perfect" XD), but they put on a good show. AND I NEVER REALISED THE SINGER WAS SO HOT. I guess I've never really seen a decent picture of them, but GODDDD. He was like ... insanely good looking.

Wellllll. I'm on holidays. :D It's totally awesome ... I actually feel like I've lost a billion of my brain cells. It can only be a good thing though, right? At least until I go back next term and have to re-remember everything. XS
Although I have been working alot. Like, ALOT. I think I did 26 hours this week, and I'm doing about 16 next week. I 'spose it's good for the money, but it's hard work sometimes.

.... Pretty much every teenage girl I know has completely fallen in love with Robert Patterson. Y'know, the guy that's going to play Edward Cullen in the 'Twilight' movie?

He looks so ... clean and preppy and stuck-up. I know I shouldn't judge him on his appearance, but I don't even find him that good-looking. They should be choosing somebody completely gorgeous since Edward is supposed to be "the most beautiful, amazing, fantastic, completely unrealisticly good-looking thing to ever walk to earth".
Seriously? I would burn Twilight if I had to chance.

As of that last sentence, I am officially shunned from the world of teen fiction. xD

I've been listening to "Bette Davis Eyes" by ... (that random 80's singer) ALLDAY. Ahhhhhhh! It's not even that good a song, but I've completely fallen in love with it, and I just made it my myspace profile song. xD
It's so ... different from what I normally listen to as well. It's like ... soft commercial pop. (Although I have always had a soft spot for Bette Davis.) :D

How is SCHOOL?! I feel like such a sadist. Enjoying the fact that everyone else is now back at the torture they call education.
Whilst I, on the other hand, only have two more weeks until holidays. And then one (really short) term until SUMMMMMER! Could life get any better? I think not. xD

DON'T READ THE LATEST TWILIGHT BOOK! For one, she's the worst mother in the ENTIRE world. She pretty much just leaves her baby in the care of her vampire-family, so she can go have heaps of sex with her douchebag of a husband, who knocked her up in the first place because he was too stupid to use protection.
Plus she's so MARYFREAKINGSUE. I hate Mary-Sue stories with a passion, and this one takes it too far. Y'know. Beautiful, smart girl with no friends goes to a new school, where all of a sudden EVERY boy loves her! And then she meets handsome boy who she can't have because he'll eat her, but because they're both so in-love and good-looking, they fight through it, and everyone lives happily ever after!

*vomits*

I feel like such a love cynic. I guess I better just stick to my Stephen King and Edgar Allan Poe. xD

By the way. READ HAUNTED! Chuck Palaniuk =<3. I love the way he just completely toys with morals and values, and the way we view society and each other. He is the bee's freaking knees. :)

I think I'm like that too. I actually can't stand my friends sometimes. They are so childish and... I find I prefer to hang with the older ones. I'm going into year 9, which is the same thing as 8th grade if I'm correct, but my school as two sites. A lower and upper. We're the oldest in lower school and it's gonna be weird since none of the older ones will be there...

Awweh, do you straighten it? I cut my hair myself once and my mum grounded me. :cheese: Ah well. I think it was the fact that is was assymetric, one side was longer and I think she thought I looked crazy. XD I think bushy hair is cute, but my hair too is infact bushy when not straightened so I shouldn't talk.

I'm telling you, my life is no more exciting than yours. XD

I'm SO SORRY for taking a billion years to reply. Actually, I think it's been nearly three weeks since I've replied to any comments. 0_o.
We just finished major-major exam block, and then I had all these Marching Band performances, and I caught a virus, and everything's just been so stressful!!

I haven't read a decent book in [i]so[/i] long. I think the last non-school-related book I read was . . . uggggh. The newest 'Twilight' book. Which I HATED. My friend lent it to me, and it was so completely terrible.
Have you read it? If you haven't, don't. It's even worse than the first three.

I DEFINITELY reccommend reading Chuck Palahniuk's "Haunted". It's [i]amazing.[/i] Some of his books have parts that are almost . . . scat porn. But y'know. It's no worse than half the fanfictions on here.
Irvine Welsh is amazing tooooo. His books are definitely aimed more at adults, but I enjoyed them. :) I'm pretty sure MyChem got their name from his book "Ecstasy".

And errrrrrr. William Gibson is fantastic as well. You kind of have to like Sci-Fi and Cyberpunk to enjoy his novels, but if you do, you'll [i]love[/i] him.



You're going back to school like . . . this week, right? I remember you saying something about the 25th or 26th.
I've almost started counting down the days until school finished for me. Only three and a half months. :)
I'm hoping it goes really quickly. I can't wait until summer. :)

Haha, Maryland isn't all that bad is it? Well I find that a lot of cool people are from there... XDD I know, the internet is our real homes. Though I really would like to become less addicted. Probably one of my new years resolutions when the time comes.

Well, here there can't be any sexism for the obvious reason... but there is the fact that the good ones are always believed more than the bad ones, makes you want to be good sometimes, I mean you should be good all the time but... you get the gist. I often try my hardest to stay in the shadows and just observe. You learn a lot that way.

Thank you, seriously, it's all the endless hours I used to spend on myspace. That palce was just... either HTML heaven or HTML hell. I loved and still do love, experimenting. I stick to what I can do. I sometimes like to try something new but the usual means spend hours on it and when I want a new profile I like to be quick about it. Do it and get lost, lol. It's okay, not everything is for everyone. But if you sit down and take the time to experiment, if you like to experiment, it could be a lot of fun. Don't strain your brain though. It hurts when you do that and then notice all the jumbly HTML stuff. XD

It IS your fault I'm a wimp. By the way, I think I better add Thisbe The Drag Princess to the list of odd decisions.

I'm just enjoying my last month of break.

Awweh, that's terrible! I know me, if someone pulled down my down my pants I'd kick his face in next time I saw him. I remember I slapped this boy once and he used it to blackmail me for absolutely ages. Like if he wanted something from me, he'd go 'If you don't give me that I'm telling Miss that you slapped me.' I was such an idiot when I was a kid. I've done some things that I'm not very proud of but I can't turn back time, so, whatever. Haha, you got in trouble? Why, it was innocent, wasn't it? And no, it doesn't really count. I don't think it does.

I've worn uniform since I was 4 or 5. I can't really say anything apart from the fact that I'm used to it. Outside school, you wear your own stuff so it's really not much of a problem. Wearing a particular thing for 6 to 7 hours really doesn't bother me. I mean, it would be much more fun if my school wasn't so strict, but also if it wasn't so boring. It would be amazing to be able to put your own little bits of who you are into your uniform, everyone would really stand out.

Haha, I came back early because I missed my bed, seriously. I love my aunts, but their beds are shitty. XDD Me too, I was suffering from withdrawl.
