depends on the type of sketch honestly, but for an actual work I intend to colour and stuff it takes me a couple of hours as well by hand. Colouring and stuff combined on digital programs takes me days. Mainly because I easily get distracted and sometimes get frustrated when something isn't working the way I want it to :P

I shall have to do some investigating then :3 Out of interest, how long does it take you to complete your art? My sketches take a couple of hours, depending on the difficulty level. :/

SAI is good for full on drawers types, it's brushes are very soft compared to those of Adobe Photoshop programs but the only disadvantage is that it has no line tools or text tools, it is a purely drawing program. it acts like a digital art studio sorta lol but I do recomend Adobe and SAI programs, they are great to use. Right now I am working on a fanart of my fave Silent Hill couple and another pic of my character Elysia :)

Aaaah, might have a look into that. Colour is something my family have been nagging for me to do but I never liked to do it in case I ruined the actual picture. I am planning to begin to experimenting though since I got my graphics tablet. Looking for half decent programmes so twill be interesting to experiment with the one you use :)
