I didn't explicitly say I would just stop cold turkey, now matter how rough it has become for me to keep writing, I have kept the story going--albeit at a slower pace. It just feels like a 180 from where I had planned. As much as I would love to just walk away, I understand the cruelty of an author just dropping the story like it's nothing and I would feel pretty terrible. Sorry for such a long comment.
