Yeah, I live in Cali. Not one of the major cities, though, just a suburb. So I don't have to deal with pathetic spray tans and surfer dudes and stuff where I live.

Cali is pretty nice. I don't really know many of my neighbors because we live in one of those neighborhoods where the houses are spread out and people aren't that close, which is sad. Though it could just be my family. Anyway, I do have a huge group of friends at school. That's kinda where my "family" is, you know?

We have horribly bipolar weather near the capital! We had a ridiculously hot November and then skipped this illusion you easterners refer to as "fall", and went straight into 40 degree weather. It probably isn't much to you over there, but have 70 degrees one day and 36 the next is pretty sucky. Plus, it's too warm for snow but too cold for comfort. Of course, it's nothing compared to the east coast, lol.

The people here are really polite and friendly. It's really easy to meet people and stuff. Is it like that in the east coast? I've heard people are a lot more get-out-of-my-way-why-are-you-smiling-at-me-you-stranger over there, but I'm not sure whether to believe it or not.

What are Phillipino weddings like? Are they anything like American ones?

Oh, and as a side note to my other comment, you really shouldn't be tolerating Jessica at this point. She's kinda out of control. Haha. That's why I was surprised people hated her so much at the beginning. I was like "hold up! I got bitchier stuff planned, so save the hate!"

No, it's actually my fault. I've noticed I haven't thrown Spike in enough. I'm thinking of throwing Haley and Trevor in a lot in this story and then more Spike and Clarice in the next one. Which will be all about Janice ^^

I remember them, wonder why they haven't commented on a particular chapter, wait for their spaztic remarks and insanely astute predictions. It's probably because as of now I have maybe 3 or 4 constant commenters on this story so I remember them. And then there are maybe 3 or 4 from my last story who haven't commented on this one yet, which makes me sad. I even messaged two of them saying I missed them, lol. One was like "yeah, I'm not reading the sequel" and the other hasn't responded, so I guess she's just busy. Anyway, long story short, I will miss you ?

If I didn't, I would probably be sobbing and scrapping the end of my story just to surprise you guys, lol. But I like the twists I have planned.

I'm glad you don't think I'm bringing Taley in too much. I was kind of afraid of that. Meanwhile, I haven't found a way of incorporating Spike and Clarice in very much right now, which is pretty sad to me. But I don't know what I can do to them! They're probably my least favorite pairing simply because I haven't done anything with them. Taley is going to keep showing up, though. Any ideas on what to do with...Sparice?Clike?Spice? I don't know. You're so much better at this than I am :)

Love that! Anyway, yeah, Jessica and Emma are just good friends looking out for eachother right now. A lot of people on the comments are like "Jessica's a BITCH!!!!" but she really hasn't done anything bitchy yet. She's just found a guy she likes and has asked her best friend to stay away from him. And so far Emma's been doing her best to avoid him. We'll see how this plays out, lol.

Well, you are a ridiculously astute reader! There are some predictions/observations of yours (like the Jessica one) which are right on the mark! But I'm not telling yet...

Actually, a long time ago I came across one of those postits on a bathroom mirror. It's actually called "Operation Beautiful" and there's a site for it and everything! So for "It Started with a Bet" I began with the cliched idea of a person betting they can make someone fall for them but then twisting it so it wasn't really cliche. For the sequel I wanted to do the same thing with a dofferent cliche and decided to do the whole "anonymous note passing thing" and I figured this would be a kind of twist. And then I went and looked for a good picture.

And that's my ridiculously long explanation as to how this story came about, lol. More than you wanted to hear?

As for this whole Jessica/Emma thing....you'll seeeeeeee *singsong voice* I'm surprised this many people are insisting that Jessica is lying! I didn't expect anyone to come up with that at all! Then again, no one's been commenting about Jess's character, so I assumed that everyone liked her and no one caught onto her little crush on Corey.

Haha! It would be hilarious if Christa made that comment backfire somehow and Trevor found out what Haley said! I'm sure he would be greatly amused and find some way to tease her about it...you know, that's not a half-bad idea >:]
