Don't worry, no offense taken. I love constructive criticism :) And originally I had just been writing the first chapter but then it kind of went to like 8/9 pages. I felt like I needed a smaller introduction in there :) I love those amazing cliffhangers as well where you just need to know what happens next otherwise you'll go insane. And of course, thank you for the story comment!

I completely understand what you’re saying. I have in the past noticed that I sometimes write dialogue in a dated manner, but that’s the manner in which I speak so I have my moments of forgetfulness in which I fail to modernize the dialogue but I will do my best to bring the dialogue up to date since it does give the story a bit of a strange vibe. They sound like they’re talking in the 1930’s or 40’s when they’re supposed to be in the 90’s lol. Thanks for the comment, I'm glad that you enjoyed the story and left a thoughtful message. And don’t worry, I'm not offended by your comment. It was honest and will serve to make this story better :)
