Exactly. A know a girl who's been suspended for talking in math REPEATEDLY and making out with her boyfriend in the hall REPEATEDLY and suspended for it. Her mom thinks the school is picking on her daughter.

Yeah, I agree. Then we have the parents who blame the school for their fucked-up kid.

So I've heard... and we've got some shitty parents here too. We're a charter school, so we kinda fall in between public and private.

Our school is supposed to be a "3 strikes, you're out" kinda thing. And most parents who have a kid that's up for expulsion just pull the kid out so it doesn't go on their record as being expelled.

haha, nice :) I knew a kid who got suspended 8 times before they finally pulled him out.

:) Most of our kids are pretty good. A few who aren't and a few who have been pulled out (as opposed to being expelled).

So I've heard. We have a couple kids who came from public schools and they tell us all kinds of stories.

Yeah, I know. I've never been in public school, so it isn't really worth switching now.

Yeah, it sucks. I know people who live an hour away from the school though.

My school is about 25 minutes away from where I live. The way ours is set up is that my mom drives me and my sister to the elementary school and then a bus takes the middle school and high school kids to our building.

Eh. I've been there since kindergarten and my mom likes it.

We don't really have a whole lot of that. Our school is boring.

Yeah, I know. But everyone gets all whiny about the high academic standards at our school.

Sounds like a plan. A lot of my friends left to go to different high schools, but I still have a couple people left... should be interesting.
