I agree. Their are boundaries between how far your friends can go, their your friends and teenagers (plus their human) so of course they are going to be less than perfect. But at the same time they can't be using unkind language, as you put it, all the time, either.
Yeah it is and I do sing just in the privacy of my own home or getting up and being hilarious at karaoke night with my friends (A VERY unique experience...) At the same time I don't do all the time because even though it's my voice, it's also the other peoples ears :)
That's cool that your in a family of singers, I wish I was . Also that fact that your a natural singer definitely has my envy (horrible I know!) and I have thought about taking lessons but still haven't steeled myself to do it. Plus i'm going to be out of school soon so I have to save my money... O.o
I do know how to play piano though! At least decently. Maybe I will try that with our piano downstairs sometime (Thanks for the idea ^.^)
Lol, i'm not the best movie companion either. I assign characters to people I know in real life (The comparisons aren't the most flattering at times either) I'll also laugh about things and whisper comments to the person beside me. Normally I can keep it under control, but I really don't want to :P
My friends the same way so we have a blast when we see movies together. I tried watching a horror movie once and just made it non scary by laughing at the entire thing. Didn't really have the effect on me that it has on most people.

Ditto. I prefer my friends with their head intact, thus the peacemaker role is assigned to me. (Plus i'm just normally the peacemaker in most situations)
Lol, I definitely get the difference because i'm not an academic nerd either. I can be a pretty hard core gamer and whatnot but schoolwork? Definitely not my forte.
I definitely get what you mean Honestly if I could sing, I would be singing all the time (My favorite way of expressing myself even though I suck at it) Music is a great way of expressing emotion, as you said. Once I came out of being a music recluse I couldn't understand how I had lasted so long without being in tune with music and i'm not even a huge music person either!
I know, right? It's hard because they aren't portraying themselves, their portraying a character so you get to know that character not the person, thus remembering only the character. Lol I do the same thing! It will bug me if I can't figure out what movie their in, enough that I have to stop myself from fully watching the movie currently on and trying to remember who else that person played. When I shout out the movie their in though, my friends just go, "yes and?" Because they know so much about movies. I solved this problem by going to the movies with my best friend who has the same problem as me.
I do have to say I haven't gotten that bad that i'll run to a computer to figure out who they are, at least not until after the movie is over. (Of course this is probably due to the fact that the computer i'm allowed to use fails at life O.o)

Hopefully the band will be able to pull through and keep on making the music their fans love! But if they don't, your right, we do have three albums to enjoy.
Being the peacemaker isn't always fun, but I do it anyways O.o
That's a good way to reply, better than getting into a fight over something so small... Of course those fights do still happen but better to avoid them when able.
I don't have to worry about getting ratted on because of that since all my friends are nerds as well :D Lol quite a few of them are proud to be nerds, actually.
Music is inspiring, and it doesn't matter what other people think it's what you like and enjoy that makes you, you. So don't change that for them or for anyone.
Lol, i'm the exact same way! That is something my friends will make fun of me for but mainly because they are movie buffs. I remember the characters and everything about them, but never the actors. :P

It definetly is. It's actually pretty surprising how friendly people are on here :D
Really? I didn't know that, that sucks! While I might be less of a music recluse, at least enough to know quite a few songs, artists and whatnot, but I still don't really keep up to date on what is going on in their lives. Same thing with actors, I remember quite a few of their faces but almost never their names.
Really? I'm pretty lucky, i'm pretty much fine with almost anything that comes on. Yes I have my favorite artists and whatnot but I am still pretty neutral as to what I listen to. So my friends and I don't have that problem ^.^
That sucks that you do though, if it comes up again. You should all just agree to disagree on the matter :)

Don't feel bad, it's my choice after all. Once the ice is broken it's pretty fun, getting to "somewhat" know people and whatnot. Thanks :)

I love Paramore! Lol, just a couple of years ago I wouldn't have been able to say that because I was a music recluse. But then my friend got their hands on my ipod and now it's a different story :)

Nothing much other than figuring out this site and trying to respond to the seemingly endless wave of welcoming people. Don't get me wrong, I think it's awesome, just overwhelming. (I'll feel bad if I don't at least try to respond to most of them)
