He came home, an excited grin with the hopes to try something new on their toothbrushes and she couldn't take the blue sparkle flavor, abhorred that it wasn't minty fresh. Hahahah!!!!

The bit about the three months was in reference to the last six months of them having been broken up. So, they broke up in January. He went to California in April. And between January and April, he became the person he spent so long convincing Liza he wasn't--sleeping around--so when he went to see her in April, he turned around because there was no way she would ever forgive him.

And yes, they totally broke up over toothpaste. Harry bought Crest when he knows Liza is a Colgate girl.
