I think the positions have only really showed with the New Mibba format, which is probably why you haven't noticed before now. If you're interested in joining, you'll have to wait for the next recruitment drive. For example, this was the thread where I learned how to apply, but they'll post a new one if they need new staffers.

That's because I'm a member of the staff on Mibba, and you're a regular user. Basically it means I go around checking up on people's stories to see if they're following the rules, reporting and such, helping wherever I can and just being all round BOSS

A brain disease is probably more likely to take a more apocalypse type effect, definitely. Nuclear causes would have to be quite advanced and specifically meant to do some damage on par with the zombie effect, but humans are far more likely to simply die. The technology would have to be there and the attack premeditated, or a sort of evolutionary/nuclear mutation through poisoning but that's more unlikely. Disease is more likely for sure though prolonged effect isn't probable, hence my thinking that a contagious disease could fuse with nuclear materials in some way to create zombies...

My theory on zombies...well neither would surprise me. I'd prefer it if it were the nuclear one though because I live in a totally isolated country that won't even let nuclear powered vessels enter its waters let alone use it. Though I think it'd be a bit silly to have a solid theory on it; one must be prepared for both. I actually wrote a story a few months ago about a zombie apocalypse that was a fusion on both theories
